So so so good! Freshness of the pasta, sauce, cheese, and vegetables made the meal a memorable one. The portion size is pretty big, so a great place to have family style meal. They provide complementary bread, and it paired well with the marinara sauce. You're going to have a great meal from here, so just go.

We love Vinny's! For my birthday we went to Vinny's for lunch and had two beautiful entrees. The portion sizes are huge and I always have enough to bring home. Service is always fantastic. Keep in mind that you can order a La carte from the menu or you can order from their hot bar for most of the day. Incredible meal as always. Don't skip this Italian destination.

I am still a huge fan of Vinny's but I just wanted to let all of the parents know that there are no high chairs or any space to stick a stroller. So I recommend bringing one if those pop open chairs to put on top of a chair or booth. I ordered one as soon as I got home.

Vinny's is an old school Italian restaurant. The food is ALL fresh and their main dishes are premade. First for takeout, this place rocks. Since their main dishes are premade we go in and pick our hearts delight! Sitting down and your treated to a different day like going back to old Brooklyn. It is a local place for you to enjoy the atmosphere that made Brooklyn a community. We also like experimenting with our food, sometimes we will take a hero and have them pt salad on it (veal, in brown mushroom sauce and salad is slamming). The veggies are great but ask for sauteed spinach.

Never disappointed when we visit Vinny's. Best homemade Italian food. We started with the fried calamari & garlic bread with mozzarella. Then we had the spaghetti Carbonara which is one of the best I've had. Topped off our dinner with a fresh crunchy cannoli. Service is always great, waitstaff is very attentive. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.

I wish I read the reviews earlier before coming here. There red sauce is addicting! We started with grilled shrimp and calamari that was fresh and delicious. The chicken Francese is good but their red sauce is even better. Next time I'm going to go with a chicken parm. Paired it with a side of baked ziti that was delicious. Friendly waiters and old school feel but very clean. Portion was large and bread is so good !

On tour with Springsteen .Found myself in Brooklyn NY. Stumbled on this nice place .I ordered Veal Parmigiana. Delicious with a IPA beer. Service was fast and gave me all the time to review the menu . If you find yourself in NY Stop here and you won't be disappointed. Cheers

I am surprised I failed to write a review when I used to frequent Vinny's a lot at one point. Vinny's is old school neighborhood Italian food---lots of red sauce to fulfill your red sauce craving (especially if you normally don't cook Italian)--lasagna, meatballs, eggplant parm and more. There is a wide variety of traditional Italian dishes and the portions are always satisfying. Actually, massive (They do not have sidewalk or outdoor dining). Vinny's is the kind of restaurant whereby the loyal, true blue frequent patrons will be known on a first name basis. Throughout the years, I have done my share of indoor dining, placing a delivery order or going in person for a takeaway. Some of my favorites were the Filet of Sole, Fried Calamari, Eggplant Parm, Chicken Masala, Chicken Rollatini and salads. My only nitpick was that when a side of pasta accompanied some of the main dishes, it was already precooked allowing it to lose the al dente texture. I recently had the Chicken Masala and it was very good. Just as I remembered. Instead of an entire chicken cutlet, they use tenderloin pieces smothered with an abundance of mushrooms in a delicious sauce. I didn't even need a knife to cut the chicken because it was so tender. The mains are accompanied by choice of vegetable such as sauteed broccoli or string beans, rice or pasta. What is really nice about the pasta is that you may choose a side of baked ziti, vodka or tomato sauce. They're very generous. When craving Italian food that comes close to homemade, bring your appetite and pay Vinny's a visit. You will be happy you did.
